A Good Friday Eve fellowship and supper for youth and college/career will be held Thursday, April 9, at Sherman Baptist.
A Good Friday Children’s Activity is scheduled for Friday, April 10, at Sherman Baptist. Food will be served at 6:30 p.m., and an Easter egg hunt with flashlights will follow at 7:30 p.m. Games will be played at 8:15 p.m. All children are asked to bring a flashlight and an Easter egg basket.
The WMU will meet April 10 in the home of Ann Davis at 12:30 p.m.
Joint Worship is scheduled for Sunday, April 12, at the Sherman Methodist Church at 7 a.m. Other churches participating will be Sherman Baptist, Sherman Grove MB Church, Belden Baptist, and Bethel Baptist.
The 55 and Up Club will meet at Sherman Baptist April 21.
Sunday, April 5, Sherman Church of Christ held its fellowship dinner immediately following the morning service. Bro. Ray Kennedy preached and then led the young men of the church in a singing school after dinner with a devotion.
The Sherman Church of Christ is getting ready for a spring fling Saturday, April 11, at 2 p.m. with an egg hunt and games for all ages.
A Gospel Meeting will be held April 26 – 29 at Sherman Church of Christ. Sunday’s schedule will be morning service with lunch following. Monday through Wednesday services will be held at 7 p.m. nightly.
Brotherhood was held March 29 at Tri-County Baptist Church with Charles Kitchens as the guest speaker.
Six ladies from Tri-County Baptist attended the Women of the Word seminar April 4 at Wildwood Baptist Church in Tupelo.
Sue Coker attended the Bible drill at West Heights Baptist Church in Pontotoc April 5 for her grandson, Hunter Wages, who was one of the participants of the Bible drill from Cherry Creek Baptist Church.
