County supervisors finalize purchase of new E-911 emergency telephone upgrade

The Union County Board of Supervisors Monday gave final approval to the lease purchase of needed new E-911 emergency telephone equipment, and also signed the maintenance agreement. Maintenance, including software, will cost $2,429 per month. The total equipment cost, which will be spread out over years, is $139,291. That’s discounted from the $146,771 original price. […]
