The Sherman Library is hosting its Summer Reading program every Friday in June at 10 a.m. for ages 12 and under. These programs are designed to encourage children to continue reading during their summer break so that valuable reading skills won’t be lost. This summer’s theme will explore all kinds of science topics from science experiments to watching team associated-remote control cars race each other to making and designing their very own paper airplanes and much, much more! Family and Friends Day is Sunday, June 8, at Sherman Church of Christ.

A joint community service will be held at Sherman Grove Baptist Church Sunday, June 8. Bro. Gregg Thomas of Sherman Baptist will be preaching, and lunch will be served following the service.

A potato bake was held Sunday, June 1, after the morning worship service at Sherman Baptist. All proceeds go to the youth fund for their youth trip.

Members of Sherman Baptist will be hosting Vacation Bible School visitation Sunday, June 8, at 4 p.m.

Sherman Baptist will be hosting a Vacation Bible School Family Picnic Sunday, June 15, at 5 p.m.

Vacation Bible School will be held Sunday through Thursday, June 15 – 19, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Sherman Baptist Church.

Brotherhood was held Sunday, June 1, at Tri-County Baptist with James Scott as the speaker.

Members of Tri-County Baptist Church will be honoring all fathers at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, June 15, for Father’s Day.
