The traditional official beginning of the Christmas shopping season will be this Sunday when the New Albany Main Street Association presents its annual Holiday Open House. The Nov. 10 event will be from 1 to 5 p.m. with many downtown and area businesses open and featuring specials for the early holiday shoppers.
“You can join friends and guests for early holiday shopping and delectable refreshments during this annual event,” Main Street Manager Vickie Duke said. Refreshments will be served at the Magnolia Civic Center, provided by the Main Street Association, and visitors can receive a free gift from BancorpSouth. “Register at the Magnolia Civic Center for a chance to win a $250 Main Street Money Gift Certificate courtesy of New Albany Main Street Association,” Duke added.
She invited everyone to visit businesses participating in Holiday Open House.
