Katie Chism and Jeff Sendelbach to wed Sept. 14

Dr. and Mrs. Jimmy R. Chism of New Albany announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Katherine Leigh Chism to Jeffrey Edmund Sendelbach, son of Pamela Rose, the late Danny Rose of West Chester, Ohio and Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Sendelbach of Union, Ky. Katie is the granddaughter of Mr. William B. Earnest and the late Mrs. Annie Stone Earnest of Fulton and the late Mr. Johnnie Chism and Mrs. Virginia Ann Chism of Fulton. Jeff is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Jackson Ferguson and Mr. and Mrs. James Phillip Sendelbach.
Katie is a 2003 honor graduate of New Albany High School. While in High school, Katie was the yearbook editor, a varsity cheerleader, and a member of the National Honor Society and Anchor Club. She attended the University of Mississippi in pre-nursing. At Ole Miss she was active in Delta Gamma Sorority. She furthered her degree at Lowenberg School of Nursing in Memphis Tennessee where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She was employed at St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee as a nurse for five years. Presently, she is employed at Methodist LeBonheur Hospital in Germantown, Tennessee as a nurse in the emergency department. She now resides in Lakeland, Tennessee.
Jeff is a 2004 graduate of Lakota East High School in West Chester, Ohio. He was a member of the Marching Band and field commander his senior year. Jeff attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University to major in Air Traffic Management, with a minor in Aviation Weather and Human Factors. While in school, he participated in ERFSEDS, ERRSA, and intramural sports. Jeff presently resides in Lakeland, Tennessee and is employed by the Federal Aviation Administration as an Air Traffic Controller.
The ceremony and reception will be at the bride’s childhood home, 198 Tip Top Hill, New Albany, Mississippi on Saturday, September 14, at 6 p. m. All friends and family are welcome to attend.
