Book about the adventures of Oxford twins to be library program topic
Lunching with Books May 21, at the Union County Library in New Albany will feature a review of the book “Ya’ll Twins?” by the authors Katherine and Margaret King of Oxford.
In the book the twins share their stories, experiences, and antics growing up in Oxford in the 1950s as identical twins. It is described as a very funny and entertaining book about how they took advantage of looking alike to swap classes and other adventures.
Katherine and Margaret both graduated from the University of Mississippi. Katherine is currently an Instructor of Mathematics at the Oxford campus of Northwest Community College. During her career as an educator, Katherine has received numerous awards as an outstanding teacher. Margaret is semi-retired from working for the federal government. While working with Rural Development, Margaret twice received the Distinguished Service Award.
Dogwood Hills Garden Club will provide a light lunch beginning at 11:30 a.m. on May 21, at the Union County Library.
