Museum Moments, which will be held on Aug. 16, 2012 at the Union County Heritage Museum, will feature Carolyn Terry from The Apron Museum in Iuka.
Terry, who has the only apron museum in the country, has been featured in state and national publications.
He will talk about the history of the humble apron and how it is a barometer for the economy and culture of the times.
She will bring a selection of her collection for the day.
The event is the opening of the Union County Cooks Exhibit. The program starts at 12 noon and a light lunch is available at 11:30.
