Hugh McDonald obituary

Hugh Burns McDonald, 75, of New Albany, died Sunday, April, 7, 2012, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. 

He was born Jan. 15, 1937, in New Albany to George & Zera Smithey McDonald.  He was  a member of Palestine Baptist Church.  He was retired from Hillcraft Mfg.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at Keownville Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Harrison and Rev. Mike Benefield officiating.  Interment will be in New Harmony Cemetery.  United Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his Wife: Betty Joyce Smith McDonald; 4 Daughters: Melissa Butler (Jerry) of Okolona, Marilyn Morphis (Jimmy) of New Albany, Connie Mathis (Buddy) of Selmer, Tenn., & Bonnie Thweatt (David) of New Albany; three Sons: Chris McDonald (Rhonda) of New Albany, Buddy McDonald (Brenda) of Long Beach, MS., & Danny McDonald (Rebecca) of Blue Mountain; 1 Sister: Joann Butts of Oxford; 3 Brothers: Ralph McDonald, Kenneth McDonald, & James McDonald, all of New Albany; 16 Grandchildren; & 5 Great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother: Clovis McDonald.
Pallbearers are Adam Baker, Charlie Frank Cullens, Ricky Sanford, Tommy Taylor, Lacy Mims, Earshell Windham, & Ricky Jordan.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, at Keownville Baptist Church.
