Investigators are currently interviewing two people of interest in the shooting death of Amanda Price.
New Albany Police Chief David Grisham said the department currently has two people in custody, but no charges have been filed.
“We should know a little more this afternoon,” Grisham said Friday morning.
According to investigators, the two people being questioned had been arrested on unrelated charges and that information came about that they may have some connection to the shooting.
Grisham said that no murder weapon has been found yet.
Amanda Price was shot and killed with a .380 pistol while in her backyard on Monday, Dec. 5. Her husband was also shot in the shoulder when he responded to her screams.
