Lisa Renee Wagner and Thomas Haywood Hamilton IV were united in marriage on May 2, 2009 at 6 p.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Key West, Florida.
The Very Reverend Donald Sullivan officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Eugene Wagner of Deerfield Beach, Fla.
She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Howard Wagner of Lake Worth, Fla. and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Charles Welsh of The Villages, Fla.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Haywood Hamilton III of New Albany. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Haywood Hamilton Jr., also of New Albany and the late Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Raeburn McConnell of Tupelo.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an elegant strapless gown of white satin. The fitted bodice and princess A-line skirt with an organza overlay featured a scalloped lace design with a contrasting taupe sash. Her finger tip waterfall illusion veil with satin pencil edging draped gracefully over her cathedral-length train.
She carried a hand-tied bouquet of ivory roses.
Attending the bride as maid of honor was Jenya Alyssa Kaufman. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Milam Hamilton and Sarah Spencer Hamilton, sisters of the groom; Kimberly Gardner Ford and Katherine Ann Walsh.
The groom’s father, Thomas Haywood Hamilton III served as the best man. Groomsmen were Jonathan Stewart Hederman, James Ronald Medlin Jr., Bryan Carter Smith, Lance Covington Unglesby and Nathan Wilson Ward. Ushers were Ronald Louis Davis II, Derek Jay Kaufman, Jason Douglas Pannell and Justin Randolph Robbins.
Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents honored the couple with a beautiful candlelit reception in the garden of The Oldest House. On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Pier House in Key West.
Following a honeymoon trip to Jamaica, the couple will reside in Atlanta, Ga.
