 Congratulations to Jeremy Swindle, Bill Donald, Billy Kelly, and Steve Counce for winning the Faye Reid 4-Man Scramble golf tournament Wednesday, June 17.

Rob Chitham from Algoma spoke for both services last Sunday, June 14, at Tri-County Baptist Church.

Twenty Five of the Tri-County Baptist youth went June 18 – 20 to Camp Armstrong.

Sunday morning, June 21, the ladies of Tri-County Baptist Church fed the fathers breakfast and gave them a gift for Father’s Day.

Vacation Bible School will be held June 21 – 24 from 6:30 – 8 p.m. at Sherman Church of Christ with a “Riders of the Great Roundup” theme. There will be classes for all ages: nursery – ages 2-3, ages 4 – 2nd grade, 3rd to 6th grade, teenager class, and adult class.

Some of the Sherman Church of Christ youth will be going on a mission trip to Rolling Fork, Mississippi, June 28 through July 2.

Bro. David Westmoreland will be in the pastor’s office at Sherman Baptist on Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Vacation Bible School is scheduled for June 22 – 26 at Sherman Baptist Church from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. nightly. This year’s theme is Rome: Paul and the underground church.

World Changers will be at Sherman Baptist June 30 – July 3, and the church will provide lunch each day.

Sympathy is extended to the family of Curtis L. Armstrong, 56, who died Friday, June 12, at NMMC.
