The proud parents, Yvonne Brozenec of New Albany and Bruce Brozenec of Woodridge, Il. would like to announce the engagement of their daughter Danielle Brozenec to Pvt. Jeremy Files, the son of Donald and DeeDee Files of New Albany.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late John and Mary Jane Zinzer of New Albany and also Iva and the late John Brozenec of Tucson, Ari. Danielle graduated from Hinckley-Big Rock High School in Hinckley, Il. She attended Hair Professionals Career College of Cosmetology in Sycamore, Il. where she received her degree as a cosmetologist. She is currently employed at Creative Touch Salon and Day Spa in Tupelo and is enrolled at Northeast Mississippi Community College where she is pursuing a degree as a paralegal.
Pvt. Jeremy Files is the grandson of David and Diane Rasberry of New Albany and also Gene and the late Nellie (Files) Nobles of New Albany. Jeremy is a graduate from New Albany High School. He attended college at the American Motorcycle Institute in Daytona, Fla. Jeremy joined the Army Reserve in October where he has recently graduated with honors from basic training at Fort Sill, Okl. and is now based at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland for AIT training.
While on Christmas break, Jeremy proposed to Danielle. The engagement came after a two-year relationship. The couple plans to exchange vows as soon as he graduates from AIT, towards the end of April.
