Sympathy is extended to the family of Hubert “Doc” Spears(92) was the husband of Jewel (Stafford). Survivors include Virginia Spears and Royce(Debbie)Spears of Pontotoc and family. Mr. Hubert was a lifelong resident and from one of the pioneer families that helped establish the community. Services were at Hurricane Baptist Church. Interment was in Bethel Cemetery.
